ODS was founded in 2008 in Figino Serenza (Como) by Domenico and Serafino Orsenigo, owners of ODS snc, a leading firm of interior design and furniture craftsmanship, using a variety of metals: brass, iron, copper, steel, zinc and aluminium. The company began working on finishing touches, specialising in varnish coatings, glossy or opaque, epoxy resin and dip-print, a technique that enables the creation of an unlimited range of shapes and finishing touches on various materials,
such as plastic, wood, metal and any paintable material. ODS FINITURE recently merged with ODS snc, resulting in a company that can offer a full range of services from start to finish, from design sketches and architectural projects to finished products. The majority of the production takes place in a fully automated industrial branch that draws on our knowledge and long-term experience of craftsmanship.
In over 35 years of business, our flexibility has allowed us to fulfil any request, from manufacturing prototypes to major contracts.

We have cutting-edge cybernetic, industrial machinery highly efficient on batches of thousands of square meters; we also have four pressurised cabins to manage the smaller orders. All our painting rooms are equipped with a vacuum system with special filters that eliminate all kinds of fine dust that could compromise the final product. We use colour cards from several firms (NCS, RAL, etc.) to produce our collection of samples, though we can also create additional bespoke colours that are not in our catalogue.

The two-component transparent epoxy resin is used on multiple materials such as wood, marble, stone and plastic. It is applied to coat materials in a clear, glossy, waterproof and very resistant varnish that lasts forever. It is used for laminating materials in hostile environments, such as the restructuring of ships, wooden boats’ hulls and outdoors designs and furniture to fight aging and weather conditions.
